Artists are a diverse lot: they may choose to paint or photograph, sculpt or sketch. Whatever their medium though, they create an image out of an idea, enabling us to see more of life than we otherwise would. We applaud their skill and are grateful for their passion and their talents.

How we met them: |
Needing just the right artwork for Raggedy Ann and Andy, I went on line to find something I could only imagine -- until I saw Rachelle Anne's webpage. Then I knew that she had the same childlike, whimsical style I was searching for. Thankfully she was also willing to take time to create art for Kalliope and fit us into her busy life. |

Fun Facts about them: |
Rachelle can’t remember a time when she wasn’t creating. After graduating with a degree in art from NSCAD University, she designed web sites, brochures, logos, stationary, etc. and then left that career to dive head first into the amazing world of children’s illustration! In her free time she paints, crafts, sews, does photography, and loves baking warm, yummy cookies for her husband on a crisp fall day! |
