One amazing thing about voice actors is that they are a lot like flavors. Just as in a cake cinnamon might be welcome, but in a stew requiring garlic, it would be a disaster; so it is with different voices. Each one is so delicious in just the right "recipe." Therefore, we work hard to find just the voice/inflection/accent to produce a culinary...no, auditory masterpiece.

How we met them: |
Pete came to us through our audio producer, Roy Yokelson. We are so glad that Roy recommended him, not only as a great voice (he is!) but as a reliably talented Voice Actor who needs very few takes to get things just right (he is that too!) His warm, inviting voice was perfect for Just David and the taping was finished in record time. Pete is an accomplished professional who knows his craft and provides a great narration. |

Fun Facts about them: |
How many people do you know that, as a kid in NYC, dreamed of being a DJ while listening to Rock 'n Roll on WABC radio? And then, grew up to do exactly that? Well, Pete did, and since he still enjoys the same music, it must have been fate. Now his smooth, "Bailey's Irish Cream ice-cream" flavored voice is his trademark, although personally, he also likes a cone of the coffee-flavored variety. He also loves summertime, Doritos, late nights, and horseradish...and he can even wiggle his ears! |
