One amazing thing about voice actors is that they are a lot like flavors. Just as in a cake, cinnamon would be welcome but in a stew requiring garlic, it would be a disaster; so it is with different voices. Each one is so delicious in the right "recipe" and that we work hard to find just the voice/inflection/accent to produce a culinary...no, auditory masterpiece.

Iota shaking hands How we
met them:
In searching for just the right voice for Daddy-Long-Legs, we tried our numerous voices that were very good, but just not "Jerusha." Then we heard Kelleigh. She had the "Anne Hatheway" quality we were looking for -- the spunk and the energy, wrapped up in a sweet but believably spontaneous package. Her reading is so close to the story line that it is hard at times to remember that she is *not* Jerusha Abbott, orphan, college student, and writer.
Iota jumping for joy Fun Facts about them:
When we asked Kelleigh what super-power she would like to have, she unhesitatingly replied, "to fly!" That must have been a long standing ambition because she is accomplished in the art of Ariel Dance. An avid "outdoors-woman," she also enjoys hiking, climbing, kayaking, and cycling. This talented mint-chocolate chip and Hokey-Pokey flavored ice cream lover has only one regret: she can't knit!
Iota with sign stating "what I think" What they have to say:
"No man pleases by silence; many I please by speaking briefly."
Ausonius (Latin poet, c.310 - c.395)

(Still waiting to hear from Kelleigh)

Quote: The Scribe Quote:
the Scribe
"There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action and because there is only one
of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it,
it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. "

~Martha Graham ( 1894 - 1991 )
